JUVENILE LAW
Our juvenile law practitioners assist clients with a wide array of juvenile issues. We have experience in and a solid understanding of our local juvenile courts. Our services include assistance with:

Abuse and Neglect: In abuse cases, parents are accused of causing harm, usually physical harm, to their children. Neglect cases usually occur when the parent is accused of failing to properly care for their children. It is a more indirect form of harm compared to abuse. These cases can include inappropriate or inadequate living conditions, not providing adequate medical care or general day-to-day care of children, and leaving young children alone without any supervision.
Juvenile Delinquency: In delinquency cases, individuals under age 18 have been accused of a crime. However, since the individual is considered a juvenile and not an adult, the juvenile courts reside over the cases and juvenile, not adult, rules apply.
Dependency: Dependency cases arise when a child's situation requires court involvement, even though there may be no one at fault for the situation. Typically, in these cases, a local family services governmental agency is involved.
